This 1970 photograph shows part of a Chinese funeral procession at the now-expunged Hock Lam Street, opposite the Central Fire Station at Hill Street. An elaborately-designed Chinese traditional hearse or sedan, a white lantern and other funerary items can be seen in the foreground. Shophouses lining both sides of the street form part of the street scene. Title devised by Library staff.
