This 1984 photograph shows a bungalow located at Joo Chiat Place. A row of decorative fretwork fascia can be seen underneath the eave of the roof. This house is most likely to be in the Early Bungalow (1860s) Style. It is one-storey high and has timber floor elevated on brick piers to allow air circulation underneath. Brick staircases leading to the main entrance can also be seen. Title devised by Library staff.
