This 1993 photograph shows Grange Road, towards Chatsworth Road (from opposite Spring Grove). Grange Road was initially a private pathway that leads to Oxley's estate (owned by Dr Thomas Oxley). Grange Road was named after a large house in Oxley's Estate called the Grange House. The road is under the Urban Redevelopment Authority's conservation scheme since 1991.
