This 1971 photograph features probably the dining room of Panglima Prang. Panglima Prang was a 19th century Straits Chinese bungalow built by Tan Kim Seng and was situated at Jalan Kuala, off River Valley Road before it was demolished in 1982. A marble topped table with several kopitiam style chairs surrounding it can be seen. In the background, two mirrored sideboards are flanked by Chinese style chairs and a display case housing crockery. Title devised by Library staff.
