This 1992 photograph depicts No. 467 Geylang Road along Lorong 25 Geylang, at the west corner junction of Geylang Road. It shows a view of the three-storey shophouses along the road. Vehicles are parked along the road. A spiral stairway connects the top and second storey of a residential block next to it. Geylang is believed to be a corruption of the term "kilang", Malay for factory, from the coconut and lemongrass processing factories of the area. Title devised by Library staff.
