This 1972 photograph shows the plaque at Sir Arthur's Bridge, at Kallang River at Kallang Road. The plaque has the following words: "This bridge begun in 1918 & completed in 1921, was named Sir Arthur's Bridge by the Municipal Commissioners in Feb 1920, in commemoration of the governorship of Sir Arthur Henderson Young, CC.M.C. K.B.E. ~ 1911 - 1920." Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
