This 1985 photograph shows a colonial bungalow with a large lawn. The bungalow has windows with timber, louvred shutters, and a stone staircase that leads up to the front door. This type of bungalow is slightly raised from the ground, probably due to the fact that it faced the seafront in the early years. It is likely to be located in the Katong area.
