This 1982 photograph shows Waterloo Street, at Bras Basah Road. It shows a view of a street with the two-storey St Joseph's Institution building on the left. Waterloo Street is named to commemorate the Duke of Wellington's victory over the French in 1815. Title devised by Library staff.
