This 1992 photograph depicts Aljunied Road from junction of Geylang Lorong 22 and Geylang Road. Aljunied Road is named after Syed Omar Ali Aljunied, a leader of the Arab community who built the Aljunied Islamic School, and who gave land for Syed Omar Cemetery and Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
