- 1950 / 1969
This photograph is part of NLB 1950s to 1960s photographs (Album 1) collection. It shows three gentlemen at an incomplete low wall of bricks. A man dressed in colonial uniform is on the other side of the wall. A plague at the low wall informs that the foundation stone of the National Library at Stamford Road was laid by Mr. Lee Kong Chian on 16 August 1957. Title devised by Library staff.
