This is a 1982 photograph depicting Neil Road and the row of shophouses located along the road and opposite to Kreta Ayer Road. The shophouse building consists of two- and three-storey shophouses with tiled roofs, and five-foot ways. Some of the shophouses have overhangs over their entrances. These shophouse now form part of the rows of shophouses in the Tanjong Pagar area of Neil Road, which have been conserved. Title devised by Library staff.
