This 1970 photograph shows the exterior of a shop (building dated late 1890s), located along Orchard Road (between Cavenagh Road and Buyong Road). Orchard Road supposedly got its name from the orchards and plantations that existed in the area until the turn of the 20th century. It is now a major tourist and shopping belt.
