This 2010 photograph shows a lighting installation titled "Jellight" at the "I Light Marina Bay" event. Jellight is a lighting installation by Pascal Petitjean and Aamer Taher. Imagine the jellyfish deciding to leave our polluted oceans and having a refreshing dip in the clean waters of Marina Bay before escaping into the universe as 'reverse UFOs'. Hence, the installation tries to entertain and challenge all of us to be more aware of the consequences of our extravagance. The artists created these interactive and imaginative light objects, to provide an opportunity for visitors to 'grab' the jellyfish's tentacles and keep it on Earth. Title devised by Library staff.
