This picture shows an area on reclaimed land in Potong Pasir in the 1970s. This is newly reclaimed land as evidenced by the large rocks which can be seen in the area and the fact that the ground has yet to be flattened. There is a two-storey house which can be seen behind the blue lorry. A small shed, probably a sentry's shed or a guardhouse, can also be seen in the middle of the picture. Gambar ini menunjukkan kawasan tanah tambak di Potong Pasir dalam era 1970-an. Kawasan ini seperti baru sahaja ditambak kerana batu-batu besar masih ada bersepahan dan tanah belum rata. Di belakang lori biru ini ada sebuah rumah dua tingkat sementara di depannya ada sebuah pondok kecil yang mungkin pondok sentri atau tempat mengawal keluar masuk lori-lori ke kawasan itu.
