This 1994 photograph shows a row of shophouses, located at no. 36, 34, 32, 30 and 28 Eng Hoon Street. The shophouses feature French windows on the upper floor and grilled windows on the lower floor. Eng Hoon Street was named after Koh Eng Hoon, a successful merchant trading in the 1800s. Title devised by Library staff.
