This postcard from the “Lim Shao Bin Collection” features a photograph that shows part of the Impounding Reservoir, also known as Thomson Reservoir, near Thomson Road, Singapore. A pavilion is built within the lake, with a small bridge that links it to the mainland. Three men, dressed in white suits and wearing hats, are standing on the bridge. The words “The lake is Impounding Reservoir Thomson Road, Singapore.” are printed at the bottom of the photograph. Nothing is written on the back of the postcard.
