This 1988 photograph shows Nee Soon Avenue 7, now renamed as Yishun Avenue 7, with a view of a canal flowing from the north, from near Thomson Road. Some houses can be seen on the slope beyond the canal. Nee Soon Avenue was named after Lim Nee Soon, "pineapple king" and rubber planter. Title devised by Library staff.
