This is a 2004 photograph of a general view of the restored two-storeyed Istana Kampong Glam, with its grey exterior walls with white trimmings, covered front porch with arched columns, windows with louvred timber windows and pitched tiled-roof. In front of the building, sitting amidst the greenery, is a raised platform in the shape of an 8-petaled flower. Title devised by Library staff.
