This 1969 photograph shows the ancestral altar, on which is placed the ancestral shrine, a censer, and other paraphernalia of ancestor worship. Seen above the altar table is an ancestral portrait. The picture was taken in the Wee family (descendants of 19th century shipping tycoon Wee Bin) residence on Neil Road, which has since been converted into the Tan Cheng Lock Baba House Museum.
