Security, National University Hospital, during COVID-19 pandemic

"THANK YOU NUHEROES. Watchful, responsible and hospitable – these words best describe the men and women who make up the security team at the National University Hospital (NUH). NUH’s security officers are ever watchful of what goes on across the hospital. Maintaining overall peace and order, they are trained and prepared to respond to various situations. In this fight against COVID-19, they are at the frontline. Whether it is supporting temperature screening, directing and controlling the flow of traffic at major entry/exit points, escorting patients to their clinic visits, or ensuring a clear and safe route for COVID-19 patient transfers, the hospital’s security officers carry out their responsibilities with a strong sense of duty. They are also ever ready to extend a helping hand to patients, visitors and colleagues. Like guardians of NUH, the security team upholds the safety of all in the hospital."--Contributed by National University Hospital, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call.
