This 1968 photograph shows a row of shophouses at Kinta Road, also known as phau be po hang (race course lane) in Hokkien. On the first storeys of the shophouses are seen bat-shaped air-vents, while the upper storeys feature full-length French windows, half-length casement windows, decorative pilasters and architraves. The corner shophouse seems to have a different type of windows. Title devised by Library staff.
