This 1971 photograph shows two two-storey First Transitional Style shophouses in Malacca. Some prominent architectural features seen include Corinthian columns, louvred French windows and decorative moulding. One of the shophouse has a black gilded plaque, with Chinese characters hung above its door. Title devised by Library staff.
