This 1982 photograph shows Sims Avenue (from north side of Geylang Lorong 19). Sims Avenue is named after prominent Chinese businessman Sim Kia Jan, managing director of Chin Huat Tin Ore Trading Company, and a member of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce. Title devised by Library staff.
