This 1993 photograph shows a row of shops housed in a single-storey building at Thong Bee Road, off Sembawang Road. Thong Bee Road is named after Lim Nee Soon's shop in Beach Road. Lim Nee Soon (1879 - 1936), was a respected community leader and an influential businessman in Singapore. Title devised by library staff.
