This photographs shows an aerial and panoramic view of the Ocean Building which is under construction along Collyer Quay. The view shows the convex shape of the facade walls. Construction at the top storey of the building is underway with the help of a huge crane that towers above steel piles and scaffoldings. Below at street level, the view captures the waterfront traffic along Collyer Quay as well as boats along the shore and the sea beyond. The foundation stone of this new Ocean Building was laid on 26 March 1972 and it was completed in 1974. When completed, the building can be accessed either from Raffles Place or Collyer Quay.
