This 1982 photograph shows Chulia Street, from Raffles Place. It shows rows of shophouses on either side of the street. In the background can be seen several high- and low-rise commercial buildings. Chulia Street is named after early Indian immigrants, who were known as the Chulias. Title devised by Library staff.
