This 1986 photograph shows the former Ministry of Labour building, at no. 78 Prinsep Street. Apart from the entrance, the entire façade of the building is covered with lattice glass windows. Several cars are parked outside the gates of the building. Prinsep Street is named after Charles Prinsep, a lawyer who owned a big nutmeg plantation in the area in the 1850s. Prinsep Street is off Orchard Road. Title devised by Library staff.
