This is a photograph of the front entrance of a shophouse in Chinatown that sells traditional Chinese pastry. Chinese cake houses such as this one typically sell delicacies and traditional favourites such as tau sar piah (bean paste pastries) and lao po bing or 'wife cakes' (winter melon pastries).
