This photograph shows blocks of HUDC (Housing and Urban Development Company) flats, one of which is a point block, stretching across the landscape, with a residential park in the foreground. These HUDC flats were built to cater to the housing needs of middle-income professionals who were unable to afford private properties and were not eligible for HDB flats during the 1970s and 1980s.
