This photograph shows a Caucasian guy playing on the beach at the Pagar, which is a fenced-in swimming area next to the Changi Yacht Club. It is also known as the Pagar Beach by British servicemen in Singapore. It was among the facilities developed to serve the RAF officers and their families. At the far end of the beach can be seen many boats. Several hills are also visible in the background. This photograph was developed by the photographer on 10 November 1952.
