This 1985 photograph depicts houses at no. 38 and 36 Eng Hoon Street. The two-storey shophouses feature French windows on the upper floor and grilled windows on the lower floor. Eng Hoon Street was named after Koh Eng Hoon, a successful merchant trading in the 1800s. Title devised by Library staff.
