This 1982 photograph shows Neil Road, at the corner of Bukit Pasoh Road. Photograph depicts a view of the street, with two-storey shop houses on the left. The façade of the shop houses spots three bays of windows filled with a window with the central window almost of full length on the upper storey. Clothes can be seen hanging from some of the windows. Beneath each of the window on either side of the central window are decorative panels. The building is supported by columns and pilasters and dentilled cornices. Neil Road, which is in the Tanjong Pagar area, is named after Colonel Neil of the Madras Fusiliers, of the Indian Mutiny of 1857. Title devised by Library staff.
