This 1983 photograph shows a row of shophouses, located at Middle Road (near Waterloo Street corner and next to Tai Loke Hotel). The shophouse on the extreme left belongs to Dr Loh Siew Gek's European Union Clinic. The shophouses seen in the photograph have since been demolished. Title devised by Library staff.
