A market at Orchard Road, Singapore

This shows the front of a black-and-white picture postcard with a photograph of Orchard Road Market. The photograph features a fountain which was brought over from Telok Ayer Market in 1902. The market, built in 1891, was popular for selling fresh products. However, it was later torn down in 1982 to make way for Orchard Point.
