This photograph shows Madam Sng Mui Hong, the landlady of Kampong Lorong Buangkok, standing outside the iron mesh gate of house number 29D which is written on the red mailbox outside the gate. There is a dog in front of her at the slightly opened gate. The house beyond is single storey with a zinc roof and white wooden walls. Its wooden windows are painted in red and white. Bicycles and birdcages are kept outside the house. Title devised by Library staff.
