This 1994 photograph shows the exterior view of a row of two-storey shophouses, located at no. 36 and 38 Eng Hoon Street. The shophouses feature French windows on the upper floor and grilled windows on the lower floor. Eng Hoon Street was named after Koh Eng Hoon, a successful merchant trading in the 1800s.
