A caption above the photograph on the picture mount reads: "United Chinese Musical Association's Dance Orchestra that took part in the Charity Dance organised by the Association at the Great World Cabaret on Sunday, 9th December, 1934 (Presented by the United Chinese Musical Association.)" A description under the photograph lists the members of the dance orchestra: "Back row:- Mr. Tan Swee Lim, Mr. Koh Tiong Tai, Mr. Tan Teng Kee, Mr. Lye Kim Hok. 1st row:- Mr. Lim Teck Siang, Mr. Yeo Hock Hwie, Mr. J. W. Kay, Mr. Seah Keng Siew, Mr. Koh Tiong Tat, Mr. Lim Hwie Seng. Standing:- Mr. Wee Boon Liew." A decorative border embossed on the picture mount frames the photograph.
