"With COVID-19 as the start in early 2020, nurses had been working non-stop and Valentine Day is a good opportunity to appreciate and acknowledge their efforts and combat this. Hence, I composed the lyrics and printed them with purchased roses to send to different hospitals."--Contributed by Jonathan Tan, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call. This is a photograph of a bouquet of flowers with a card attached that is dedicated to "Our Singapore hero", namely the staff of National Centre for Infectious Diseases. The bouquet was given to healthcare workers on Valentine's Day as a token of appreciation for their hard work in combatting COVID-19. Additional description by Library staff.
