Construction of Development Bank of Singapore building [74 of 118]

This photograph is part of the Datuk Seri Lim Chong Keat Collection. It shows a close-up view of the DBS Building west foundation pier that is almost fully submerged, with only steel rods marking the periphery of the pier poking out from the murky water. Two steel struts can be seen above it. Dated 1 Febuary1971, the rear of the photograph also bears the chop of Wong Commercial Photographer. Title devised by Library staff.
