Burned documents at Hiap Chuan Joo sawmill after fire, 1962



Hiap Chuan Joo was one of the largest sawmill factories in Singapore. Located at Balestier it produced wooden crates used for beverages including Coca-Cola and Tiger Beer. Taken on 25 October 1962 this photograph shows remains of burned documents in the sawmill factory after a fire. Title devised by Library staff.
