This is a photograph of a couple in a traditional Malay wedding ritual which entails sitting on a dais or "pelamin". The bridegroom holds a kris in his right hand and the bride holds a small bouquet. Both are in beautiful wedding dress of a similar blue colour. Title devised by Library staff.
