This photograph shows the National Day Parade in 1969 held at the Padang. The spectators are seated watching a band marching past beating drums and playing other musical instruments. The National Day Parade is held every year in commemoration of Singapore's independence. Photograph donated by Chua Ai Lin and displayed at Heritage Roadshow 2007. Title devised by Library staff.
