Ministry of Labour, Prinsep Street no. 78 : exterior

This 1986 photograph shows the exterior of the former Ministry of Labour building, at no. 78 Prinsep Street. Apart from the entrance, the entire façade of the building is covered with lattice glass windows. Prinsep Street is named after Charles Prinsep, a lawyer who owned a big nutmeg plantation in the area in the 1850s. Prinsep Street is off Orchard Road. Title devised by Library staff.
