This photograph shows a section of the Raffles Place area (formerly known as Commercial Square), with a carpark in front of the Robinson's Department Store (centre) and the OUB (Overseas Union Bank) building (left). The Robinson's Department Store, with its iconic statue of Eros, was destroyed by a fire in 1972 and the current site is now occupied by the OUB Centre. A van with the logo "Lucky Records Store" is pictured in the foreground. Title devised by Library staff.
