This is an exterior front view of the Masjid Abdul Gafoor which incorporates Saracenic and Roman architectural elements. The exterior walls of the main buildings are painted in pale yellow and green. The enclosing wall dips in curves at intervals. On top of the wall there are short square pillars that look like stacked rectangular boxes tapering at the top. The name of the mosque in Tamil, Arabic and English appears on a section of the wall painted white at the left of the main gate. Title devised by Library staff.
