This 1986 photograph shows a shophouse at no. 314 Jalan Besar (between Foch Road and Petain Road). The façade of the shophouse is decorated with plaster mouldings, pilasters and cornices. The upper floor features a French window in the centre flanked by two windows with plaster bas relief panels below them. On the ground floor, the doorways are covered with metal grilles.
