This 1993 photograph shows a row of shophouses, located at Joo Chiat Place (no. 187, 189, 191, 193, 195 and 197, opposite Rambutan Road). The upper floor of the shophouses feature windows with wooden louvred shutters, while the lower floor has a five-foot-way running along the front of it. Title devised by Library staff.
