This is a 1992 photograph showing Punggol Point on Punggol Road. Punggol Point is not found in the present day street directory. In the 1930s, the humble seaside eateries at Punggol Point gained fame for serving sumptuous seafood, especially chilli-crabs and the unbeatable tung-hoon crabs. Title devised by Library staff.
