This 1975 photograph shows a Malay-style house in Malacca. The house has timber floors elevated on timber posts to allow air circulation underneath. Some architectural features seen include clay tile roofs, wooden balustrades and louvered French windows. There is a white staircase leading from ground to the verandah level.
