Saint Andrew's Cathedral, altar : general view

This 2010 photograph shows the altar in Saint Andrew's Cathedral, with the east windows in the background. The centre panel of the window is dedicated to the memory of Sir Raffles, founder of Singapore. The north panel is dedicated to Sir John Crawford, Governor of Singapore (1823-1826) and the south window to Major General William Butterworth, Governor (1843-1855). Their coat of arms are borne in the upper portions of the stained glass windows. Title devised by Library staff.
